One of my least favorite products of hegemonic masculinity is the 'you need to get laid' meme.
As if:
1) People with unusual interests can't find sexual partners
2) Not having/wanting sex is 'weird' and contributes to other weirdness
3) Sex is somehow a magical psychological elixir that 'fixes' broken people.
