I apologize for BLASTING you with my strong opinion this morning. My irritation with your ex had been building for a while: I've lived through that, and I would really rather that no one else live through that too. I wish I knew how to convey that message to the unkind (Yo! Be more kind!). Short of that, at least I can offer support (in my awkward, untactful way).
