hopefully getting my way overdue new MBP in a couple months and i'm starting to gather links to the tools i'm going to install.

@mxsparks BBEdit! haven't even looked at that in years. i still occasionally use TextWrangler because i've never found a live diffing tool i like better.
@pixelpaperyarn I tried to download TextWrangler, but apparently they've officially retired it in favor of (the free subset of) BBEdit
@mxsparks oh noes! and i'm getting a new machine soon. wonder if i can just move it over from the old one. ugh!
@pixelpaperyarn i just downloaded BBEdit and let the trial period expire, the only thing that happens is that the "premium" features go away and it turns into TextWrangler-but-with-updates

i don't use it often, but that "compare" feature is my favorite.
@mxsparks @pixelpaperyarn you might give Firefox Quantum a chance. I left FF for Chrome ages ago when they started messing it up, but they've really got their act together this time.
