Hello again! I noticed that to open some toot, you have to tap exactly the text of it, not anything else on it. That, uh, usually not what is done, unless the text is in a box...
I mean, most users would expect that if they tap anywhere that's not another button, they would see the message's "page".

More, I'm not from USA, I'm from Russia. And, I think the situation here is much worse, because, well...
Right now there's a system that lets any government person to block a site for all of Russia, without any court decisions.
And now? Three bill for banning VPN has been passed. And only a few news outlets said about it, only few sites of IT thematics.
I'm not sure whether to curl up and sob or laugh at stupidity right now.

Oooh, *diaspora looks interesting... Wonder how hard is it to set up a federated instance of it.
There's actually an issue on Mastadon's github about pretty much that. Letting the instance users choose to ignore the silenced/suspended list and communicate without being limited by it.
I realize that there should be a way to shield people from harassment, but...
The methods that are used are very easy to misuse, or even worse, to spoof.
It's two extremes, one lets people do everything, another makes innocent users suffer.

Uh... I noticed that "silenced/suspended instances" thing and, uh...
It's completely enforced by the instance, and user on the instance cannot have something like a checkbox "ignore silenced"? I mean, making it an opt-out feature...
