honestly only check mastodon anymore for like the 2 friends that are still exclusive to this platform, and to my fans who are also exclusive to this platform. Otherwise I wouldn't even bother haha
when I first joined mastodon it was so cool because like, you were encouraged to not be a brand and just talk about what was on your mind and whatever you want, and it was neat for a time. I just don't feel comfortable doing all that anymore though, especially on the fediverse
@Roxy that's super unfortunate tbh. I still kinda just post whatever but I definitely notice things have trended slowly over time to being more like "traditional social media" in that posts and accounts that stick to a theme or consistent post "brand" tend to stay and gain popularity and it kinda sucks. :/

I also just never really recovered from the whole burnout experience that was using snouts online, and I feel bad because I've never really gotten to know anyone on this new instance and they haven't really gotten to know me
