Dreamed I was at a military base, called in as an outside advisor to inspect what looked like a haunted network.
I took a dislike to someone who seemed a bit of a weasel and mentioned to my assistant, "That guy's a sneak. He acts like he has to see everything in the world that goes on."
Assistant: "So do you, sir!"
Me: "Yes, but I'm dreaming this. If I don't see things they don't end up happening, so I have an excuse.'

Realization dawns. I'M DREAMING, I try and will the area a bit cleaner
People ask me why I have never made a serious effort to learn lucid dreaming. Part of the reason is that my dreams tend to be vivid and detailed and interesting and coherent enough it almost seems ungrateful.
The other part is that /every time they have expressed an opinion on the matter, that opinion is 'NO'/
@Azure A few people have suggested lucid dreaming for my PTSD nightmares. They don't realise my dreams nor my level of in-dream awareness do not care.
