I do not wish to advocate for immortality in a world where for some of us life is still not worth living. Not in a world where some people's quality of life depends on others suffering. Not in a world that is still deeply unequal and inequitable.
Any discussions about immortality will not be humane or even liberatory unless all of us are truly free.
@creatrixtiara Yes, this. Also it's weird how on Twitter the idea that we should all be truly free together is constantly met with violent resistance by half of Twitter. But I suppose if all Mastodon was together, we'd get the same numbers. Separate instances with controlled federation for the safety and peace of mind win.
